The C# Developer will have previous experience of agile development and TDD (test driven development).

Our client, an international organization, is seeking to recruit a Financial Software Engineer to join their team.

The Role
The successful candidate will join the team developing and managing the firm’s complex & high frequency trading system. He/she will also be involved in maintaining and operating the in-house electronic analysis and trading systems in after hour’s rotation. The role will involve close communication with traders, brokers and project management work.

Main responsibilities
• To further develop & support the company’s geographically distributed electronic trading platform.
• To join the team in charge of the daily setting up, running, monitoring and troubleshooting the trading system which operates 24 hours a day and which trades equities futures and spot FX in Asia, Europe and the North America.
• To understand complex trading processes and systems and to help the ongoing development of control parameters, to ensure reliability, consistency, process quality and control.
• To be involved in the complete development cycle.

Requirements
• The ideal candidate will have Excellent all round computing skills, mathematical ability, as well as project experience in meeting deadlines coupled with, preferably, an exposure to the finance industry.
• Degree in science/computing/numerate/engineering field
• Strong working knowledge of .NET (C#/VB.NET), distribution and SQL.
• Able to work well under pressure and have proactive approach to implementing enhancements and process improvements whilst maintaining precision.
• Drive to learn and work well in a team as well as taking ownership on sub-projects.

Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science/Multimedia/Interactive Design
