The Position
• Per the Technical Manager’s instructions, inter-alia, the Technical Superintendent shall be responsible for:
• Carrying out vessel surveys and preparing relevant reports
• Attending and supervising vessels’ dockings and repairs
• Monitoring fleet technical programmes and vessels’ certificates
• Checking and supervising the timely and cost-effective supply of stores and spares
• Monitoring and ensuring the effective implementation of vessels’ Planned Maintenance System

The Requirements
• The successful candidate shall possess the following requirements:
• General knowledge of Maritime Regulations
• Specific knowledge of the ISM Code
• Sea-going experience, preferably as a Chief Engineer on oil tankers
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent command of the English and preferably the Greek language as well
• Supervisory skills and computer literacy
• Positive outlook and team player
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in the tanker management sector
